Here she is everyone from my new inherited collection...

https://goccf.com/t/227379

Now I'm not a cent guy so a little help please. There are a couple in the back absent but I'll fill those ... what do u think of the big boy? I think he's at about f-15 with a woody tone? Am I right? Does the woody aspect add value & what would you price the vdb at? Thanks...

Need a better square angle on the Big One. It looks like mint mark Position 3, but seems to low for that and Position 4 - the lowest - isn't rotated. A line drawn through the lower tips of the 9's should just miss the top of the mint mark.

Congrats....that's a great thing to inherit!

Sorry, but the SVDB appears to have been cleaned, looks to be Fine details. Sadly, the 09S and 1910 next to it also appear to have been cleaned.

I'm very curious about the 1943's....they clearly look blue. Are they?

Interesting. His White Balance looks spot-on, maybe just the tiniest bit of extra blue in a couple, based on the color of the Dansco pages. Even if that's true, the variance isn't enough to turn even a Steelie "too" blue.

Here u go thad... yes there is a blue tinge to them. Very hard to photograph the color well to in hand look with such a reflective coin for me. I think the darkness of the first in the steel area exasperated the color a touch but still a cool light blue hue to them

Great looking set, nice inheritance.
The 09 S VDB looks like it has a bit of wood grain.

Of course folders are not the best for better coins, but I like it. Takes me back to my youth.

Yes, I like this in particular because it is a Dansco folder and not Whitman. They do exist.

(Nothing against Whitman. Most of my folders were Whitman.)

All really fantastic. Ignor critics since those are yours and all look fantastic. However, I could tell more if you'ld send them all to me for a closer inspection. But might just get lost in the mail. Those are a real lot of nice coins.

Back off there, just carl...you've taken more than your share of nice Lincolns off the market!

Cascade, what a great set to have passed down to you. Now you just have to decide - keep it as it is, or start the upgrade process.
