I was thinking higher AU when I saw it. AU55 sounds right, maybe AU58?

I don't know where you guys see much wear on this IHC. I was going to say slider unc. . without even mentioning the 4 diamonds ,; how often do you see full clear beads around the neck ? near perfect denticles obv.and rev. the wreath on rev.sharp and clear. slight wear on center of bow.feathers are very nice. to me this example is a beautiful brown small cent !

You know, I will go with AU58 not questioned due to the wear on the feathers. Close to MS60 but not quite maybe?

There is some notable friction on the high points of obverse and less on the high points of wreath. That is a nice one.

I don't see any wear (loss of detail) but the high points show rub as noted and the luster seems muted in the obverse fields especially. I'd have to go with AU-58. Eye appeal is very nice.
