It looks somewhat suspicious like a homemade counterfeit, but maybe it's that way due to lots of wear over time.

It looks ok to me, but I don't think it grades VG+. I would put it at G-6 TO VG-8.

To me ...it does look odd.
For me to buy this .... It would have to be very cheap.

Very odd. I would look for a much better one to fill my hole.

Looks real, but well worn ...... G-4. Most of the counterfiet added mint Mark coins I've seen run in the fine and better grades. An added mintmark on a low grade coin like this would be a first for me.

Does look real but notice the sort of discoloration around the D? Might be my imagination but I'd want it certified.

The MM looks correct, just a well-worn example....actually pretty nice given the wear.

This guy has a lot of nice coins. I bought a few cheaper ones from him, but being in NYS I get hit with sales tax.

Quote: The MM looks correct, just a well-worn example....actually pretty nice given the wear. I have given this one a second look since I value your opinion. I feel better about it and would probably buy it at the current bid ($78.77). However, with over five days left this one will probably go for a lot more than that. Very good for the seller if it does. We shall see.
