Slight but obvious loss of luster in the fields, minor wear on the high points, and definite rub on Liberty's cheek. I'd say AU-53 with a shot at AU-55. Looks like the "reverse of 1878" variety which carries a small premium over the "normal" coin.

Looks like a VAM 7....which would be a Hit List 40 coin.

I have it about AU-58, agree it seems to be VAM 7

coins that I expose are mainly from former Italian collectors, that if I can aquistare at a good price to buy, my only difficulty is to give a gradation in these coins.
Near where I live a former collector has all the coins morgan, but give a precise gradation then a fair market value is difficult.
