So this was my senior year of high school, and what a heckuva year it was.
Here's the breakdown:
High SchoolApplied to four colleges (OSU, Georgia Tech, Florida Tech, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University) and got in to all of them.

After much internal debate, I decided on Georgia Tech to study Aerospace Engineering. (Sorry Jbuck

)
Graduated with Honors and a 4.48 GPA weighted or 4.0 unweighted, chords for 5 honor societies, and a medallion for completing the science and math academic pathways.
Successfully completed the International Baccalaureate program.
Took 1 AP Test (Calculus BC) and 4 IB Tests (IB English HL, IB 20th-century History HL, IB Spanish HL, IB Physics SL) and feeling good about those.
BandWe got a new band director and he is AWESOME! Our marching band placed second in our first competition (our band was 100 members. We lost by 0.2 points to a 300-member band) and placed first in our second competition.
Our Wind Ensemble performed at an Large Group Performance Evaluation and we were the best band heard throughout the entire week; all three judges gave a standing ovation! This performance got us invited to major band events around our state next year (I won't be able to participate

)
I made third chair in District Band and second char in All-State Band.
Our marching band was invited to perform at this year's Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival, which was one of the best experiences of my life.
EnginneringI participated in two engineering events: TSA (Technology Student Association) and Science Olympiad. I signed up for a rubber band-powered airplane contest where the longest flight times win. I got first in both events.
So it all ends here, depending on your perspective. From my perspective, this is only the beginning.
