1946 Penny Error?

I found a 1946 penny in my tips from work and it appears to have an error on the back side with the "C" in "Cent" it looks crooked and I was thinking maybe it was an error. This is my first post here and I am new to the whole coin collecting thing so any help would be great!

Your coin looks like the c took a hit and it displaced the metal. Keep looking and you are sure to find something!

I agree. The movement pushed the metal to the right on the "C". PSD

with all the above. Your coin is suffering from what we call PMD (post mint damage).
