Interesting, how they refined the program?
Will be allowed for example, silver member to buy the gold coins from the mint?

Elk...you're no longer interested - which may explain your incorrect spelling of the program-

Thanks Elkslayer. Can't wait to hear the details of new Master Club program. Haven't received any email from them so didn't know this was even in the works. Until now!

Silver gets you a discount on shipping and no rep, Gold gets you free shipping and no rep, Platinum gets you free shipping and a rep.
This is my guess. Not fact.

I find it curious that some people have received e-mails about the impending changes while others, me included, have not. Is that an indication of our relative status' or just more of the Mint being the Mint?
I completed the MC survey 2013 and was very critical of the Mint and in particular how they handled shipping (lack of priority for MC and/or ordering dates) and long shipping delays.
Frankly, I still see delays - though not nearly as bad as back then - and there still seems to be no priority given to MC when shipping coins. I can still go to the local PO and get most coins easier and faster than ordering through the Mint as an MC and I still see non MC members ordering coins after me and receiving them before I do. It makes no sense to me that the Mint treats new customers better than they do their best customers. That is short sighted IMO.
In any case, I'm curious to see what changes they have come up with. I haven't ordered much in the past year and I've had a couple issues with the Mint (long stories) that I have never had before. All in all, it will take a lot from this new program to keep me as a customer, never mind a MC member.

You can't send all emails at once, so just wait.

Based on my latest purchases, I'll be loosing my rep and my MC status. Oh well. It was good while it lasted.

There is already a two tiered coin program: MC members and MC members with reps. The only difference now is that the levels of spending will be quantified before you get a rep. Under the old system it is not specified how much you need to spend to get a rep. I wonder if the reps will be happy with this. Will they lose their current clients? If the spending threshold is too high, reps will have a smaller pool of clients. On the customer end, I see a lot of people losing reps if they raise the spending threshold too high. That would include me since I have cut down a lot on RCM purchases.

I received that email also. It seems that spending $1,000 would be nothing with the new VIP status.

I have been MC for over a year. Never heard from a rep, don't get most advanced e-mails. Free shipping was the only treat. No free anything now. I am a borderline spender at just $1000, so I understand. This is a way to treat the borderline MC members poorly. Not even free shipping. Well secondary markets have been touted on this forum, let's see how patient I can be.

I believe that with a tiered MC (Silver to Platinum) it will be easier to forget about guys like me. I am a bit player. Those that spend the most should and will get the attention.
I know you are just speculating Northercoins but I agree, the service for borderline guys like me is nothing now and will likely be less in future.
This will also give the mint the ability to make up new status layer later - Diamond Status if you spend over $25,000 annually. Edit: Reminds me of credit cards. Gold/Platinum
