Where there is a will... there is a way...

I will be a platinum member, by the same method I am a MC member. I can go to the RCM mint boutique in Ottawa, and buy a box of two dollar circulation strikes in rolls, and a box of circulation strike loon dollars in rolls. Yes, the mint boutiques sell rolls of circulation coins struck in Winnipeg. The purchase in the mint boutique counts to my MC account.

Then, I take the coins to the bank (after I have searched for high grades and errors)...

Do you actually find any "high grade" toonies? I mean with all the waffling I cant see any of them being high grade.

With, Winnipeg produced coins, just luck of the draw, if your box or rolls are from new dies struck coins you will have a chance for a mid grade coin, but it only cost face value.

I just stopped by the Winnipeg boutique. I was told circulation rolls do not count towards MC status and they have a 5% administration charge when selling them.

My high roller status is fading away. If I lose my personal rep after all the money I've spent at RCM, I'm only buying X for X coins from now on.

If you have a Rep now, you will be grandfathered in!

Dont need a rep anyways, just call in and order what you want if you are a M/C member, they will put you on with a salesperson/rep same thing, they all want to make the sale for commission, and they will bend the rules a bit to do it.( if possible)

My rep has been incredible helpful in the past. Way more so than just calling in. Plus the coins that have household limits don't have limits through my rep.

Why does the mint website only mention 3 levels to the new Mc program? The two levels at 5k and 10k are missing according to a post on Page 2.

Anybody know why?

Do you think the few customers who constantly purchases those kilo gold coins are waiting in some class of masterclub, the senior reps are stepping over each other trying to please these customers.

Perhaps the high levels of spending to reach these levels are beyond the reach for most of us?

Platinum Plus - $5000
Platinum Prestige - $10,000

Considering there are only 10 of these gold kilo coins per issue, there could be more reps than customers who buy these coins.
I imagine only the most senior reps will have access to these customers.

These customers not aware about Master Club levels.
In their contacts, Rep or anyone else from RCM , listed just as " RCM". So before the coins minted, they already have allocation, or maybe even approve or reject the design.

Not once I've seen the silver Rolls Royce (Phantom, I think) on Yonge street between York Mills and Lawrence, looks like one of the customers...so it was driven very carefully - I like such drivers.

Having a silver, gold and platinum would have been enough. Adding plus and prestige is kind of silly. If anything, make five levels to start out. Since the current lowest level is silver, I expected platinum to be the highest. They should have made silver plated and gold plated entry levels (or copper and nickel) followed by silver, gold, platinum. The current silver level sounds nice but it loses its appeal with 4 higher levels. But really, the names of the levels really make no difference. Just ticked off that I'll never be on the top tier
