Another great show at the Reference Library. The auctions went quite nicely as well, especially the tokens. It was great to see lots of old friends, including many from the old CCRS days. Saw spp, zonad, houndog, Jayden(dollar), George, 1960's collector, Jaime(twoonieman), derek, andrew, henry and many others. Lots of nice show-and-tell and cold brews at Astor's. I had to leave aound 11 today so I may have missed a few.

I was talking about the 9/6....not that I don't wanna hear about those errors. I could only dream of such a thing. did you see the 2004 cent brockage one of the dealers had?

I must apologize for missing beers again!

I did pick up a couple of the one cent test tokens at the auction....they all went cheaply I thought. These are very tough to find....though the demand is limited too.

I didn't see the 2004 brockage....would like to know who had it.

I also picked up an addition to my new rather offbeat collecting interest. Keeping it under wraps for now....it is a quirky little collecting area and I am trying to scoop up what I can before I come out with the collection.

Always good to catch up with SPP and J.

A good show for me... the CCF copper token in my showcase caught some eyes, so I got to promote the site - hopefully, we'll see some new Canadian members join us as a result. I also got to promote CONECA for the errors collectors as well.

As always, good to see all my friends, from the old CCRS days. Highlight of the show, I got to sit at the pub after the show with some collectors - with a cold beer in one hand, and a box of PCGS graded George V 10-cent coins in the other, from the Perth Collection!!

zonad: When did you see Daniel? After I left? I haven't seen him in years, but I do promote his zoo on many of the coin sites that I'm on and people are always amazed at what Daniel did years ago with his zoo. Last I knew, he was big into cache hunts where he would hide/bury coins and other interesting things.
