If referring to the date the "1" got knocked off it rocker. PMD. If referring to anything else I need close up. The motto has caught my eye with some thickness here and there. May be seeing things. Thanks, Doug.

I agree the 1 took a hit but I believe it has something to do mint related. I myself have found 2 1941 LWC that looks just like this coin. Odds are against it just being random.

Some coin machines will damage coins this way. Sometimes several coins of the same year will have the same damage on each coin.

Looks like a well placed hit honestly. Is there anything during the minting process that would even cause that?

Or coin vending machines.  Note how the damage is almost parallel to the rim. Something moved/damaged that device. It didn't leave the coining chamber looking like that. PSD. ( Post- Strike- Damaged)
