Well, this is not exactly a fantastic example, but it is my first Prisoner Cent find!

Thanks - I neglected to say that the dies are rotated to the same degree as the die clash is rotated. I guess that is to be expected?

Good eye! The one pillar kind of looks double clashed. Must of been a bad day at the office for one machine operator. Thanks, Doug.

All right I have not heard of a double clash before. I did notice what appears to be a notch in the one pillar. How can there be a double clash on one pillar only?

That is not a double clash. It is a planter.

Not a prisoner cent. Close, but not a hard enough clash to be called a prisoner cent. Still a really nice find.

Pete - See that's why I'm still learning to look at all angles. Thanks, Doug

edit: I should've checked my overlay examples before commenting that. Thanks, Doug.

During this era a rotated clash is often found on coins with the proper orientation.
