Are you guys serious!? It's to early to but I am, on the inside ...

I just decided to do some rpm hunting on my album coins and voila. I wasn't even sure at first even though I could clearly see what looks like an S under there. This rpm hunting thing is hard sans microscope. You just don't know if it's gunk or chips or pitting or what. Now I get it....

and this one's an S/S/S top 100. That's cool too. Should I find another for the album and get this one anacs'd?

John, I'm not sure what that is. I'll let you know after some coffee

Valuable, but not slab worthy. (I would have to have a more valuable coins for that) Probably in the $50 range. (depending on what is on the reverse of the coin) It is a LMDS (Late Mid Die State) coin.

Ok guys I must have been more tired than I thought last night and took a pick of a 44 reverse when I flipped the dansco last night... Heres a pic of the actual reverse

Are we still at a $50 coin coop?... and getting it slabbed would be more to protect & prolong the red luster no?

Who know what a flip could do to your coin. They still tone there. Just put it in a 2X2. Save the fees. You know what it is. I don't pay anything extra for a slabbed coin. I even look closer at them to make sure they are graded and attributed correctly.

The vertical lines on the reverse are a form of coin feeder damage to the die. (older coins show a different direction of these than what we are used to seeing today) No premium for this though.

If I really like the look of a copper I stick it in an Intercept Shield holder.

Does that mean ALL red cents will eventually turn brown?

That is a very touchy subject in the lincoln world. Some won't even touch reds because they believe that it will go to RB and brown in no time but the 1909 in my dansco is still red so go figure. I think it's just a crapshoot with storage environments like rainbow toners
