Well you have three things going on with your coin.
1. The die that struck your coin is showing extreme
Die Deterioration. (wear) Note on the edges of the devices facing the rim, is extending out to that area. That happens on worn dies.
2. The die was also showing a small of grease in the devices preventing a normal strike. Note how some devices are looking wider? That is because the devices on the are wider at the base and tapered at the tops. Kind of like this:

Note when the die is filling with grease, the devices will appear as slight wider because of the taper? It is a common error and in this case warants no premium.
3. Slight machine damage to the device on "E" of UNITED. The die movement on this area damaged that device. This happened either at the time of striking or during eject of the coin. It is Post Strike Damage.

Because of just one device affected, I'm thinking that this occured during ejection. (which is still MD)
Nice to know what you have, but there is no evidence of hub doubling (variety) or collectable error (MD which is common) so unless you want to keep it because now you know now what it is, it can be returned to circulation. Sorry
