Full mint luster, no issue whatsoever in that regard.

Luster looks flat and lifeless, possible cleaning. AU-55 (details)

If there is full mint luster that isn't shown in the photos, then I'll say MS62.

I'd reiterate that the surfaces are original, the coin's definitely not been cleaned. It has full luster with the caveat, "such as it is" - it appears to me that the die state (both sides) is awfully advanced, resulting in the opaque, a little grainy, and somewhat "lifeless" character that's been commented on, although it's a bit better than these particular photos make it look. I've been trying this morning to take additional shots that givea truer impression of how the coin presents in hand without success.

AU 58 - The cheek and hair above the ear show circulation rub. A nice pick up from for a price near cull.

My guess is that this was dipped at some point. It's just too shiny for such an old coin.
