SilverStackerKid Pillar of the Community United States 6478 Posts	Posted 07/08/2015 03:11 am About this time last year, one coin, destined to spark a flame that turned into inferno, was left by a customer in the reject tray of a coin counting machine. I walked into a grocery store to help my grandma with groceries. While I was walking in I noticed something shiny and looked to see what it was. It was a 1979 SBA dollar. My grandma almost killed my coin collecting future. She made me go to the front desk of the grocery store and give it to them. At this point I was REALLY But they let me have it. I went home and looked up 1979 dollar coin. I learned that there were 2 varieties. I looked and it was the normal one. From that point on I was determined to find a valuable coin. 2 months later I joined CCF asking a question about the types of 1976 ikes. In the past 12 months of collecting and 10 months with CCF, I have learned so much. Thank you all so much. Btw I still have the very coin. Congratulations! with how passionate You are about the hobby I am sure have many more years and likely decades to celebrate and enjoy your collection. You should either put your first coin in a 2x2 and label it that it was your first coin and put down the date you found it or put it in a key chain holder. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
