They will bump the mintage numbers up because they: 1) can make more money; and 2) they know they will have a sell out and 3) they still have plenty of lead time to make coins and resource packaging.
Everything revolves around #1 though.

The mintage for the Johnson set is still set at 17,000.

Remember, the reverse proof is the driving factor, not who is on the coin. If you are a completest you will need it for the entire Presidential dollar Coin set.

Quote: The mintage for the Johnson set is still set at 17,000. Well then the only thing to do is change the household limit to 1. :)

First I had 1 in my cart, then three, then four, then it wouldn't take the CC info, even though it was already saved and ready to go, I tried but it was futile.

I see kennedy selling out in 20 mins or less even with the 50k mintage now. But they better keep the hh at 5 or an entire government server farm will most likely be reduced to rubble.

i feel your pain everything. I had 2 in my cart. then it wouldnt take my address for shipping which was already saved. then it jumped my order total to 6. then the page froze and I missed out also. sad thing was that I was on the website at 11:50 all logged in and ready to go

Ordering was quite a challenge for me as well. The pages timed out a number of times and the quantities doubled in my cart putting me over the limit after retrying to load the pages. It took at least 30 seconds to populate the cardholder data after selecting the saved payment method. It took almost a full 10 minutes to get checked out so I feel lucky just to have an order in the system.

Ya know I wonder if the system counted many artificial duplicates as actual orders making the sellout itself artificial. It's something we should consider with how this all went down. If something like that happened and say only 10k are actual orders it's gonna be fun to see how they handel that

LOL, I just had a reminder pop up on my phone that said "Buy Ike". Must have set 11:00 PM instead of AM.
