I wonder what is going on with that, with the last set it was available for a good 5-10 minutes for the first days afterwards.

There were probably a few hundred cancellations available that day. The next day was the cancellations of those orders. By the time it came up today, it may have been just a few.

Like I said, 2 were already in my cart and it became available. Even with that 2sec jump I had on others who had to put them in their cart I still was denied. This is futile. At least I get up this early on the natural

Oh and guys, there's rumors abound that some ike medals are thicker on one side, possibly from finned rims (no pics floating around yet though) so be on the lookout when you get yours

Same thing happened to me trying to get Truman after first day. Missed them three times before I got the other two I didn't order first day.

Mine left Dallas at 4:30 this AM with an estimate of Wednesday. Bleah.
One of my CC charges has posted and the other is still pending, so I imagine the pending one will drop off soon.

Oh and it appears that LBJ will be getting bumped to 25k mintage limit as well. Don't know how I feel about that.

Kennedy & LBJ will still be just as brutal. I hope it's not 1 hh's though

Quote: Thanks! Do you know if the fineness and metallic content are on the rim? As stated not long after you asked, they are smooth. (In case you missed it). I now have an actual charge on my card for the order. I also have one pending charge for it. It if behaves like the gasoline purchases, the extra pending charge will fall off tomorrow. No change on the tracking. I expected it to be in ATL by now. Patience, I must have.

Mine is in Atlanta as of 5:30 this morning. Quote: there's rumors abound that some ike medals are thicker on one side, possibly from finned rims (no pics floating around yet though) so be on the lookout when you get yours I'm not able to visualize what you're describing. The metal has a thickness. I understand that. But what's this about a side having a thickness?

Quote: Kennedy & LBJ will still be just as brutal. I hope it's not 1 hh's though I agree. I doubt the Mint will go to 1 hh limit for Kennedy, but if Kennedy is worse during release, it's a possibility for Johnson, in my opinion. That being said, I like the Ike set best for this year. I already have plans for a display featuring the CC set, a completed Ike dollar set, his 1990 commemorative and Five Star General coin plus a biography on him.
