Since I got shut out of the ikes, I decided to buy something else. I bought a reverse proof 2015p march of dime graded pf70 for 134 dollars. I think I did well. even happy. down the road I will figure out a way to get an ike set.

That being said, I like the Ike set best for this year. I already have plans for a display featuring the CC set, a completed Ike dollar set, his 1990 commemorative and Five Star General coin plus a biography on him.
I am so looking forward to seeing that!

Mine left Earth City MO at 2:15AM so it should not be long before reaching New Berlin, WI. Optimistic for a Saturday delivery.

Does anyone know if the mint typically requires a signature for delivery when they ship through UPS?

I can't recall, but I do know they require a handoff. They will not leave the package.

Big tip. Don't sell your extras now. There's a group of buyers driving the price down. Once they meet their goal, sales will flatten. Then watch your TVs. You'll know when it ok to list and the price will instantly spike.

Through UPS, yes. Through FedEx SmartPost, no.

The tracking number should tell you if signature is required.

I usually have mint items shipped FedEx, but when I have UPS signature required packages, I'll sometimes sign online for them and the driver will leave the package.

This sounds backwards. The only way buyers can drive the price down is by not buying. I'd say that it's time to sell when a group of buyers is trying to meet their goal.

Yup...sellers drive the price down not buyers...a "group of buyers" would increase demand and prices

Early Ike prices are running right in step with the raw Truman sets (around $220)

..and UPS shipments from the Mint require an "Adult Signature" and are not an online sig. I have done the online sig for most of my other UPS shipments but it's not applicable for these

Thanks for the info. I don't recall ever having a mint order ship UPS, so I wasn't sure what they (the mint) require.
