Cascade...
I was amazed to get that order processed through on Wednesday morning (see page 34). I think already having them in my cart from Tuesday morning may have helped. The only other thing that may have helped was planet alignment and maybe helping little old ladies cross busy streets!
Really, it was nothing but the pure luck of being in the right place at the right time. It could have happened to anybody. I was just lucky Wednesday.

Ugh. My package went from Dallas to Houston. Aren't there enough Austin bound packages for their own truck?

Well was able to sell off my second set that had a noticeable dot on the obverse the other one looks really good besides some of the faintest dots in the right lighting. Sold set paid for my other plus $70 for the ANA show tomorrow :)

@blingmybling2 Quote:I see some listing on ebay for these coins has the letter "P" in the description. Example, "2015 Dwight D. Eisenhower $1 P Reverse Proof coin". What does that P mean? P means Philadelphia Mint. Most P mint coins do not actually have a P anywhere on them but many people still use it (i.e. 2015-P). On a side note about Mickey's I haven't had one in 12 1/2 years. 02/04/2003 is my sobriety date and I now celebrate with steaks!

Quote: They create their own low BIN listings expecting that other sellers follow suit. When they do, they swoop in and start buying up anything the can get their hands o ....and what happens when smart buyers grab their underpriced sets? They would NOT last long Quote: This Truman is up to $810 with 24 hours to go
We need a jaw drop emoticon. Nowhere near market price....last one sold for $1147 (single PCGS $1) and the last NGC went for $1237 ($1 and medal)

As a picture is worth a thousand words, the US Mint just released a pictorial statement of the situation surrounding the Eisenhower release and its subsequent offerings...
