Ya, that was a reference to a game they used to play on Bozos Circus that feels analogous to this situation

With 6 sets available that means only three happy mint employees this morning :-)They had 8 sets a couple of days ago. Maybe Monday they will have 4 sets available.

The order I squeaked in Wednesday morning has been transferred to my local post office by FedEx Smartpost!.

Most P mint coins do not actually have a P anywhere on them but many people still use it (i.e. 2015-P).

That's not entirely accurate. It's true for older coins but all current P-mint coins have a P on them somewhere except the cent. The Presidential and Native American coins (stupidly) have it incused into the edge rather than being on the obverse or reverse.

At least it's a dry heat.

I suppose, but at the end of the day 105° is plain hot, dry or not.

BTW, I'm getting my car windows tinted. Have any experience with either SunTint or Austin Window Tint?

Sorry, I do not. Maybe check Yelp reviews... would not want the cheap job with the air bubbles visibile...

At least it wasn't windy and hot. Should spend the weekend on a tube.

Just an FYI. that coin guy on HSN has a show at 2 am eastern on the 16th(9 hours from now). He is selling the ike set graded 70 by ANACS for 1499. this is 200 more than he sells the Trumans for. It is on the the preview page on the schedule page. I guess they cost more because he had to pay more for them and I am guessing, he got less since he had to buy them in groups of two instead of groups of five. AGAIN CONGRATS to all who got the sets. Wish I was one of the group.

I received my two sets today. The obverses of both of the dollars look perfect while the reverses have some slight imperfections in the flat fields. One of the metals has a mark on the obverse, but the other is perfect. All in all, I feel very luck to have received these two sets. Now on to the Kennedy C&C sets.

I got my two sets today. There are noticeable minor problems on both RP coins. But all in all, I feel lucky to even have two sets considering the difficulty that many had.

My Wednesday ordered sets were delivered about 30 min ago.

Both the RP dollars have minor problems (small divots and flaws in the frost) and would be lucky to grade 69. One of the medals might make 70 (on a good day!) while the other is no better than 69.

I'm just glad I was able to purchase them.

With a 17k mintage the Ike and the Truman C&C sets are going to be winners both shot and long term for those that got 'em.

Captain Obvious, signing off.
