Pics are a bit blurry but it is mist likely a lamination error.

I won't use the P word yet, but from current pics I can't make out a die crack nor a LAM. I see a couple spots that look like the P word. Hopefully I'm wrong. Thanks, Doug.

edit: Meant to add LAM and such are common on War Nickels.

Looks like it might be coin contact? Note the direction on the mark on Monticello is in the same direction as the mark your looking at on the field?
