I found this in my pocket change and was wondering if the area inside of the edge of the coin where it looks like another edge of the coin is an error?
Sorry, I don't know the right terminology to describe.

to CCF. Looks like a collar clash. What does the edge look like? Not a big value coin though.It is also a VLDS,very late die state and has some damage on the obverse caused by a coin counting/wrapping machine.

I just discovered a site I had not known about (thanks to a recent reference on the Forum by BlueSolo [thanks!]).

It shows a dime collar clash. The reeds are not so clearly visible on yours, but I think that I can make them out. Take a look here:

Collar clash and a finned rim on the right.

The obverse die when it struck your coin was getting very close to retirement. You can see the Die Deterioration break down on the date and the heavy die flow lines on the neck and the fields. It is called a VLDS coin. (Very Late Die State)
