MS 61 and I may go down to AU 58 because of the possible wear in the hair above the forehead.

I think I see wear also, Slider23, including a bit on the eagle's feathers and other parts of the hair (compare to the 1922 in the other thread). I'd say AU, but because of the damage (especially the major dings on the cheek) I'm tempted to put it down below AU-58, but not sure how much.

I'd go MS60
It's borderline.

AU-58 details, net AU-50 due to the heavy bagmarks and scuffing. The first place to look for wear is the top of the eagle's wing.

AU-58 Slider MS.
Looks like a -1AT to me, "Rusty" -- anyone agree?

For a common date like this, the value really doesn't change much regardless of if it's a 58 or a 61.
A good idea is to note if you see something IMMEDIATELY when you look at a coin.
Our eyes will always search for defects.
In this case my eyes immediately went to the railroad track on the cheek.
If you see something right away, it may not be the best choice.
If you look and look and look to find anything "wrong" then it may be a higher grade, or at the very least, a pleasing example.

Agreed moxking... this was an ebay lot of 2 Peace $s - this and the '22. I was trying to figure out what I bought. I'll post the rest of the story in the ebay sectin where the next bit belongs... FWIW, ANACS graded this (pre-slab) as MS60/60 Thanks all!
