dave700x Rest in Peace United States 10625 Posts	Posted 07/29/2015 07:17 am I did a search on Worthy Coin Corp and found a lot of scanned ads they placed in Popular Mechanics and Popular Science to buy coins. It appears they went out of business in 1991 as near as I can tell. This counter struck Morgan looks like it was done in a hydraulic press or something similar that didn't have enough pressure to completely bring up the strike. The amazing part of this ebay listing is the sellers claims it's a VAM 29. Report this Post to the Staff

In 1988 silver dollars were cheap. Silver was averaging around $6.60 and AU common date dollars were probably $8 - $9 each He tried using a silver dollar for the planchet but hs press didn't have enough force.
