This common-date Morgan is in a PCGS OGH, straight graded. Seller took very poor quality pictures. Has nice peripheral toning. When I get it here, I'll see if I drained a half-court 3 pointer, or missed the net entirely. Edit: Looks like an airball, by CCF voting. Didn't even bounce off the backboard. PCGS MS-65 but more than likely a MS-64. I'm not going to attempt to VAM it off such questionable shots. I found it and I'll reserve my opinion when I see your photos.

It looks like a soft strike. I would grade it at MS 64 from seller photos.

I say 63 in ogh rattler but 64+ today. Hasn't been cracked because it would need a jump to 66 to be worth it and that one stupid brown spot and the VERY soft strike limit it to 64+ by today's standards imho

Those photos just don't do the coin any favors. For an OGH I'd be at 63.

I like that it's a VAM6B. Not exactly uncommon but certainly interesting.

I saw this one too, almost bid on it, so I will pass on the guessing, I don't think it would pass a regrade, but it's worth every penny of what you spent in this holder, to someone that buys the holder and not the coin, and we all know there are many of those types of collectors out there, the ones that don't or can't educate themselves, and rely solely on a TPGs opinion.

I've got several other peripherally-toned Morgans, and I think it will go in well with them. I'm a big fan of toning in general, especially edge/rim/peripheral toning, iridescence, or legit rainbows. Personally, I think it's probably MS-64 at best, but I like the coin. It was such a small-change purchase that I don't mind if I lost a few bucks on the deal. Win some, lose some, and in the end, if you do better than break even, you win. This one looks like an airball.

That is a super clean cheek. If the strike was a little stronger, I'd say MS-66 or 67.

Easy MS65. Nice coin, would get a + today in my opinion.

Boy, you can barely see any.breast feathers. I'm SHOCKED this made 65 and in ogh no less. I guess soft strike wasn't a 64 limit back then
