Thanks for the read. It's sad to see a nation suffers by its own people.

A very interesting, concise read. Thanks for making us aware of it. I do believe any country or society which believes that lying, cheating, and theft are perfectly acceptable as long as it's someone else's pain will reap the harvest they sow.

When I first started collecting old Morgan dollars, I bought raw ones. Mostly VF examples of common Morgans in the $30 range. I got lucky on all of them. For the past several years, the only Morgans I buy now are ones that are certified by NGC or PCGS, and only buy from US sellers with strong feedback. I realize this isn't foolproof, but it cuts down on the possibility of buying a fake substantially.

Very informative. Thank you for keeping us informed.I have been trying to keep updated on places to be more careful of. I wonder how many folks on ebay or any other auction site pass on fakes they may have gotten by accident.

I frequently see US classic coins at flea markets in NYC.

It is amazing that each dealer has several copies of a particular coin, all minted the same year.

I find it funny how the guy who specializes in Chinese counterfeiting is Chinese himself!
