my name is gerald I'm from huntsville alabama in the usa. can someone tell me how to find out just what it might be worth. and ok I'm dumb as a box of rocks with this kind of things help please

If it's authentic, it could be worth thousands.
I'm guessing that the experts around here are going to want better photos of both sides (especially the denticles). I'm not an expert, BTW.

thx I dont know nothen about how to do this stuff lol I found it and some rings with some other stuff in the floor of an old houte I was tering down and the rings were real. about 8k worth real and they sad this was to but I needed to get someone who knows more about it

Better pictures will be able to help us figure out if its real or not. You need a picture of the front (obverse) of the coin too, as the 2 photos you have up are of the back (reverse)

Don't clean it. Don't touch it - except by the rims. Don't store it so it slides around.
Beyond that - you need to take it to a REPUTABLE coin dealer - and get SEVERAL opinions as to value.

I think I made a mistake when I found it I cleaned it with terrycloth and toothpaste was real black

 with CoinCollector12. The stars are placed too far from the coin's edge and the bust is too small. It doesn't matter if you cleaned this since it isn't real. Most likely it's not silver either.
