Most coin roll hunters don't catch that one. I just found out about it and have been searching for these for about 3 months. No luck. Maybe some verdi care could help with the green stuff. Awesome find!

Quote: Most coin roll hunters don't catch that one What helped me was a while back I read the following from the Lincolncentresource.com website: Quote: This rare and popular doubled die reverse is best identified by the doubling of the initials as shown. Ever since I have always looked at the Designer's Initials on every 1968-D I come across and, well, it paid off!

Very nice find. The green spot will not come off without affecting the value of the coin, so I would leave it alone.
