i dont know about the weight but it is a large date. the 7 goes past the 0. if you look down the post you will find the one I put on here today. and theres a link that helps alot.

Its much thinner than a regular penny and makes a ringing sound when I dropped it but not magnetic so I was curious

 The coin looks like it has chemical damage (maybe environmental damage or both). It could be that the coin lost mass through a corrosive etch. It may be thinner as a result too and it could have started off on the lighter side of the weight spec.

I have a 1970 S as well that weighs 2.7 grams large date and itsbin XF condition. I thought It may be a Philadelphia coin planchet mint error due to the weight.

I agree with large date and environmental damage.It could have most likely been struck on a slightly underweight Plan. and over time has some additional weight due to wear and tear and damage.

 With that statement. Slightly underweight Planchet and loss more weight to to wear.
