Purchased this coin as part of a "damaged/cull" US 19th century lot, but I have my doubts this is actually damaged:

Reverse:
1864-2c---Damage-Or-Struck-Through?

Obverse:
1864-2c---Damage-Or-Struck-Through?

The coin certainly has some problems (hence the massive diso) but I get the feeling that based on the "fuzziness" of the arrows in the lower left side of the reverse, this coin might have been struck through something during minting. Only other possibility I can think of is that somebody dripped something corrosive on the coin, perhaps in an attempt to remove verdigris.

Thoughts?

If not damaged, then certainly a cull!

Maybe a weaker strike or a bit of grease on the lower arrow feathers at 8:00 obverse, but with the added corrosion, rim dings, and spot under the "2 CENTS" it's just a cull to me as well. Don't see any obverse doubling or a RPD, so value wise would be AG at best, IMHO.
