Worth 10 cents, small die chips almost never add value to a coin because they are exceedingly common.

Actually there is no extra metal on your coin. When a die chips it leaves an area un formed. But the actually weight of the coin/metal is still the same. So unless the stock material is different from a normal planchet, what is struck on the coin is still the same weight. (unless a piece of die is struck into the coin and it would be magnetic in that area)
