Had some fun at a coin show today, picked up 3 coins and this was one of them....largest purchase of the three.

What would you grade her?

Amazing what taking time to set up your camera can do

More indicative of coin in hand

Nice, looking at the die crack from the bust up through the 1st and second star, the smudge on Liberty.

I'll go with EF-40, but it looks like it's been cleaned.

market acceptable cleaning....if it was cleaned it was a very long time ago....I'm seeing marks under a loupe but appears to be circulation marks more than hairlines....plus there is quite a bit of luster for a cleaned coin

Has been lightly cleaned in the past, albeit lightly. I grade EF-45.

Nice, but this will never get a clean TPG grade.

I'm interpreting the photos as making the coin look worse than it actually is.

EF details
its not an "if it was", it was cleaned and looks like a lot of hairlines.
TPG would call it out for that.

its nice raw pickup for the right money but not FMV money.

It is a 45 IMO. Nice eye appeal for a cleaned coin.

XF details old cleaning, traces of original luster in protected areas, however.
