This one has a somewhat dark tone to it that shows just a very slight amount of luster when held by a light. Would you guys say this is a typical weak strike from the "O" mint? What grade would you give it?

I am really starting to like the Half Dime series. Especially when you can find mid range problem free examples.

beautiful coin.

I want to guess AU53 but won't be surprised if it went 55. Its mottled over very nicely and has a lovely dark patina. Very original and awesome eye appeal IMO.

These little buggers are quite fun to obtain and within a reasonable budget. I only own two for type in the capped bust and seated but if I were not hooked on her big sister, Liberty Seated dimes, the way I am, I would be a half-dime aspiring numismatic for sure. The entire look of Seated coinage just does it for me.

Nice pick up Connor!

Agree 53, possibly 55. These are the toughest LS coins to grade (especially the obverse) for me.

XF45 and weakly struck reverse but that's not uncommon as you already stated so I think it's a nice coin. 1860 was a very interesting time to be a Federal government employee in the Big Easy. :)

I'd say XF45 with a shot at AU50. I'd call typically struck as Half Dimes go and they tend to be weak.
