Next week, I will get $200 dollars in change; a box of nickels ,and 20 rolls of dimes. However; there seems to be a big difference in what you will find out there in bank rolls, as far as dimes go. One gentleman said he went through $1,200 in dimes and found just two silver Roosevelt dimes. Another gentleman said over the years, (he didn't say how much he'd searched through, but I'm guessing it was less than $1200), and found a half dozen Barber dimes, 100+ Mercury dimes, and 400+ Roosevelt dimes. If you could give me your advice/experience I would be quite oblidged. Thank you for your contributions.

I used to be able to get $1000 bags of dimes from my banks coin counter till it broke. I found any where from 2 to 37 in a bag. I would guess an average was 6 or 7 per bag.

Since their counter broke I have gotten 3 separate boxes of $250 in dimes. I have found three, zero and six in those boxes.

No way he found that in $1200. I search bags of dimes and boxes the most I have found in one box was 29 and the most in any bag was 10. Average dimes I find is about 1 every 1.5 boxes.

Having hit the dimes for years, my best advice would be - the more dimes you search, the more keepers you'll find!

Is that $250 dollars, or 250 dimes?

If you find 1 or 2 dimes per box you are doing well.
