Just the detail looks off and everything. It's hard to explain, it just doesn't look right on the obverse.

I know what you mean. The seller doesn't seems to know it, but the coin looks a bit off.

The Trade dollar looks fake because it is fake.

The Seller has other slabbed and unslabbed coins that appear legit. His 42/41 appears to be good, too.

Appears to be a trend now where Sellers with good FB scores are now blending in counterfeits between their "good" listings. When they get caught they just use the "gee I diidn't know" excuse.

I think sometimes that's true, and other times maybe like so, it's just a COINcidence...(hey!)

I say notify the seller and give him a chance to pull the listing before it affects his reputation.
