Just scored a complete set of V nickels including 85 86 and 12s for a grand total of $125. Love getting these deals from my local gold buyers cause they don't know the true value. I figure I could easily sell the set for $700-$800 easy maybe more....too bad the 86 is only good and the 85 is ag3, that number would be into $1000+. What do you think.

I may sell the set tonight to a fellow dealer/collector if I don't sell it I will post pics tomorrow

I don't know the series really but if your projected resale estimate is correct I would say you did well.

The 85 and 86 alone even in G-AG will bring $400-$500 all day long just by themselves. $100 to $120 for the 1912-S in G+, $60 to $80 in AG. 1883 no cents, 1884, 1887, 1888, 1894, 1896, 1912-D also should sell easily if not exceptionally ugly.

That's a home run of a deal and you should be quite happy with that one!!

Nice score! You should be able to move that set for a good profit.

I would love to see pics!

Would you believe magic?

I didn't think so.

Just right click it and "save as" and you'll own it.

Have fun.

I would have paid 800+ all day long sight unseen just based on your grade estimates unless coins were unreasonably damaged.

Enjoy your filets mignon :)
