Rescued this from circulation not long ago. Not valuable but a fun find.

I found a bundle of 100 consecutive $1 star notes at work the other day. Not low numbers but all star notes nonetheless. Does anybody think anyone would be interested in paying any premium for them? Or should I just spend them.

Depending on district, probably not much value over face right now, but has potential over the years. If you don't need the cash, I'd keep them for now. If you don't have the band for them, ask the bank and they should give you one at no charge. I presume these are US, right? Care to post the series (year) and district?

Today was the last day a coin shop I patronize was to be open before closing down until after the holidays. It was also bid board day, so there were quite a few folks in there. After the bidding closed, the owner brought out opaque, sealed gift bags from which we customers could each choose one. I don't know what was in anybody else's bag, but along with some candy and a Starbucks® gift card, this was in mine....
