I don't see the point of slabbing this if it doesn't have a shot at MS66. What do you guys think?

I can't see any big marks on it, two bagmarks on the eagle, and one just below P IN PLURIBUS.

MS 65 because of soft strike on reverse, and there appears also to be a planchet flaw or some other mark on cheek.

Agree that it is MS65 at best due the weak strike and planchet flaw being in such a primary focal point, but given the enormosity of the flaw, I could see it being market graded down to MS64 or MS64+.

okay, then it'll stay put here in Norway.

Thanks.

How about this one? Shooting at 67, or is that far out?

Loads of satin luster, with light gentle toning.

High-point friction on both sides would limit that one to 65+ imho. Nice coin otherwise, and maybe if the luster is really booming, it could sneak into a 66 holder.

Great photos by the way.

Very nice 1898 with solid fields, strike and some light gold toning. I am at MS65 with a shot at MS 66. This coin is worth sending in for grading.

64 on the first, 66 on the second with a decent shot at 67. Super example!

I think the 98 is MS66. Just short of 67. But a really nice piece

98 is a MS66, subtract some contact marks on the cheek and you'd have a 67 coin.

98 is 65 IMHO.
I've sent many of these clean like this to PCGS.
Who knows with these new graders.

Fields are relatively clean but too many marks on the face I would be at ms64 maybe a slight chance for 65

That '96 is a really nice one, good shot at a 66. 65+ except on Fridays, then it is a 66. Lock 65, though, at the very least. You have got some really nice Morgans.

I would buy coins like that for 64 money all day, every day.

Did you get those in the U.S, or is there a decent market for Morgans in Norway?
