So, in less than 2 1/2 hours I will be at a local Coin Club meeting and tonight we are having a live auction. I remember people bringing coins to the meetings to show off and stuff but I never remember what they bring them in. I am thinking of bringing about $225 in coins (3 coins make up most of that), a 2016 RedBook, a loupe, Coins magazine, and my 7112 Buffalo nickel album. Now, here is my dilemma: How do I carry these coins? I am thinking of carrying them in a draw string backpack, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think would be most appropriate? Thanks!

Your backpack will be fine.
I use one but mostly I see briefcases. Still, I'm sure the backpack will be fine.
Have a good time.

I walk to the bank daily with thousands of dollars of cash to deposit in my pocket. Some people know I have it on me, but most don't. If I was carrying one of those bank bags everyone driving/walking by would know what I had.

Good luck at the meeting.
I agree with davec13 about not drawing unwanted attention.
Assuming you are a YN, you would likely look out of place with a briefcase and may look like a target.
Good call on the backpack.

Lol- that would be hard to do! The meeting when fine, the most people had suitcases but by backpack worked fine. I was able to get some good deals at the lie action, but unfortunately I was distracted and the coin I was waiting for whent up to action before I thought it did, so I didn't get it. It was a 1835 Half Cent, VF-25 ish and the starting price was only $20. AND IT DIDNT SELL! I felt stupid... Anyways, thanks for the input!
