It doesn't look right to me. The edges around the clip don't taper like they should. If this turns out to be legit, it's the first opposite-sided double straight clip I've heard of.

The edges were ground off, there is no tapering or die flow present as you would expect to see on a genuine incomplete planchet.

Also, on the right hand 'clip', the rim (what's left of it) appears fully formed. I don't think that should happen on a genuine piece, correct me if I'm wrong.
