He truly was a great man who we are all indebted to for having served for our freedoms. Having a hand in astronaut training also is just an amazing thing to be a part of. I can say I respect him, and what he did in my life, as being likely the wisest, kindest, most giving, most moral, and most logical man I have ever met. My CCF name of Earle is in honor of him and was deliberately designed to bring him to mind every time I am online about this hobby. To log in, I have to type his name.
