I have been buying a lot of things lately and my desk is starting to get full. Anyone want to come over and search for varieties? I already found an 1807 7 over 6, too bad it's not the blunt 1 version though.

Well that back fired, I'll blame it on a senior moment.

Many stores have larger desks you know. Then too there is bookcases too. I also suggest you look into the newer Whitman Album for those Halves. All now go into one Album. Those Mercury dimes just sitting there is a waste of space so send to me and you'll have more room. AND if you look carefully, you would notice that pen taking up lots of room.

The halves definitely need to get into a new album. The one they are in have the left in the attic for 50 year smell to them. It's a complete set though every date and mint mark. Got it for a good price and am still on the fence with do I keep it or flip it? The Mercury dimes in the front are 1921 and the little pile in the back are 1945 looking for full bands. I have more rolls of 45's to go through when I get some more time.

I wish I knew what to look for... I have to admit ignorance when it comes to American varieties. I have been growing increasingly interested at the thought of some nice old American coinage though since it seems to be the one thing missing from my collections.
I would be interested in seeing the contents of your safe though... is it all for sale or will you find yourself building up your personal collection?

No one really wants those old Dimes. And if you do find a 45 with FSB, I'll take it off your hands so you will have more room.
