SilverDon Pillar of the Community Canada 2360 Posts	Posted 11/01/2015 10:25 am I have purchased paydirt twice, it is a fun thing to do when weather changes to cold and you want to hone panning skills. There are a lot of different suppliers, some better than others. Good for those who may be house- bound or restricted by local geology (ie have to travel far for gold in the ground). I pan on the beach recreationally but in December in Canada, not really conducive to being out in the bush. Bought it for a lark and had fun. See pics. This shot is from my first purchase, more pickers, less fine gold. Caribou area of the Fraser Valley in British Colombia. About 1/2 gram of gold (about 30 bucks worth) for $25 for a 1 pound bag, shipping $15, not making money but having fun. Second time only .3 grams. They also throw in some gem stones that are fun to look at. Agate, amethyst, pyrite, tourmaline. I am a bit of a sucker for shiny things, a bit crow like. Ridiculously expensive and yes, I spent the money for my kids when they were little because the wanted to do it soooooo bad. As in, c'mon dad, pleeeeeeease?
