Is this a desired error for collection? Of value?

Looks to be a die chip. Probably no real added value.

It is just a die chip. No added value although some like to collect
them. Also not considered a mint error just normal die wear etc. that causes chips.

Its a die chip

Some people collect them

but they tend to collect ones that are either a combination big size, the eye appeal, or location of the the chip.

but some collectors do collect BIE

What's-The-Blob-In-The-

examples of ones with possible low premiums

I tend to keep ones that are large or in weird location or have eye appeal
my working 9 to 5 chip

They get worse as the die ages. The die keeps crumbling away slowly.
