Has anyone bought one of these and if so, did you find it interesting/worthwhile?

Seems like a lot to pay for something I'd watch a couple of times.

Hello,

I've always thought that looking at an entire collection of another collector's coins is curious but its usefulness is questionable in terms of advancing my goal of categorizing and pricing my own coins.

Now, on the other hand, if the DVD goes into detail insofar as applicable varieties and/or errors' specifics substantiating the premium exceeding standard retail pricing; that would be worth the money emanating from an author like Bowers.

If you're seriously contemplating acquiring this disc, I suggest initially asking for a PDF of the index of topics and subtopics. A Google search did not produce any related information.

IMO,

If you're a member of the ANA you can check this out for free from their library. This was done by David Lisot of CoinWeek/CoinTelevision and I'm pretty sure they have all of his work in their library.

Yes they do have it in the ANA Library, I've checked it out in the past, not my favorite video to be honest, I think there are many better Coin TV video out there. David has a lot of really good EAC videos, and some good SSDC VAM conferences too. I have about a dozen of his videos, most are taken from tripod mounted cameras at ANA, EAC, SSDC conventions of individual speaker's presentations. and usually last from 20 minutes to just over an hour.
