I have looked at this cent from every possible angle and I'm just can't tell what type of doubling it is. It's a shiny cent so it was hard getting a good picture without glares and shadows. Hopefully these are good enough to determine the doubling. Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for clearing that up. I can now move on, lol. Getting stuck on a coin seems to be a side effect of this new hobby.

Yes, the shiny ones are a challenge. You did take some good pics though, that's a real plus here. Here is a link that will show you pictures of various types of doubling on known varieties.

Thank you for that link. The thing that threw me for a loop is the when hub doubling is described as having a "notch" at the tips of the letters. I interpreted that as meaning if I can see the tips of each letter and they aren't somehow "mashed" together then it "could" be hub doubling. The N, D, E, R, and S are what had me questioning whether it was hub or Machine Doubling. There's so much to learn but I am enjoying it.

There are numerous types of valuable doublings and worthless doublings. Dive right in, you'll pick it up. Use the link for pennies and you will see the valuable ones. When you find one that looks right, post it and we'll all enjoy it and learn together.
Here is a good link for nickels.
