Awesome collection. love the look and the click to see enlarged feature. One thing I noticed that should be easy to fix is the text for the dates for Lincoln Memorial Cents are off.

well done site. I think it is very easy to navigate. No reason to fuss about the floating menu, leave it as is. People that are interested in the content of your site will not give one hoot about the menu not moving with them down the page...heck I forgot all about it once I got to the bottom and saw the next page link... great collection of paper currency as well.

I'm with scopru, I really don't think the menu is a problem.

Hmmmm...

One thing I seem to have lost while moving away from frames is that the left navigation menu no longer stays in one place and instead scrolls out of sight as you scroll down each page. I know there are ways to have a floating menu that stays in place as you scroll, but I don't think that would work given the size of my menu and the possibility that somebody might have a screen resolution that would cause the bottom half of the menu to be permanently hidden from sight. I'll have to look into this some more.

I actually like that the menu is not on the page when the coins are visible. I like to see more space devoted to the coins like you have done and not have distracting elements present; keeps it clean and neat on the page while looking at the coins.
I could look at your page every day. I really do like it very much.

I have looked at your very nice collection three times now.
Each time I am amazed by how nice your set is.

I have no problems scrolling through each page, using IPad.

Some minor suggestions
-for the Seated Liberty coins, you have separated out the Arrows/Rays.
Which is very cool. But you still have the dates 1853 - 1855 for the
Arrows, would it be more accurate for the Arrows to be 1854 -55

Curious, are you going to add the other seated Liberty, with arrows.
I think they made one in 1873, at least a half dollar.

- For the Kennedy half dollars you have 1964 for the silver.
Then you have 1964 - date for clad. I am thinking the way you
have it 1965 - Date would be more accurate. This is a issue for
me with my Type set (Dansco). The 1965 through 1970, plus 1976
have 40% silver clad, then there are copper/nickel clad 1971 to date.
And 90% silver proofs from 1992 to date.

-on your Ike's. You have 1971 through 1978 as 40%. The mint did not
make 40% Ike's in 77 and 78, only copper/nickel clad.

I hope this does not look like I am knit picking your great looking set
and site. Just some suggestion ..

Thanks for the suggestions, GR58! Originally, I tried to replicate the text of the 7070 album exactly and only added new information for additional coins. But I guess now that the entire thing is digital, I can feel free to fix any and all mistakes.

I've gone ahead and implemented most of your suggestions, except for the one regarding the Eisenhower dollars. I realize it might be a bit confusing, but the text I added in brackets is simply there to indicate that the particular coin I have in my set is a 40% silver proof, not that all coins made during that time period are 40% silver proofs.

And no, I have no plans to add any more Seated Liberty coinage to the collection. A man has got to know his limitations...

It makes more since to me, knowing the brackets are referring
the coin you have pictured.

I wish it was as easy to change the labels in my Dansco's, as
it was for you to change that text.

OK, I couldn't resist and just bought a decent-looking 1874 Seated Liberty half dollar with Arrows and Motto off ebay. Couldn't find a good price on a quarter that I liked though, but someday.

The problem will be figuring out how to add it to my online collection. Maybe I can have three rows of three half dollars instead of the current two rows of four. Yeah, that's the ticket...

All right, I have finished rearranging Page 3 of my digital 7070 album so that there are now slots for the Liberty Seated quarter and Liberty Seat Half Dollar with Motto & Arrows (1873-74). I don't actually have a Liberty Seated quarter (w/ Motto & Arrows) yet, so I created a blank hole for display purposes. For the Half Dollar, I am using the seller's pictures and will update the image once I have my new coin in hand.

Thanks again for the suggestions!
