I saw people mention woodie cents. What are those? How are they made? Is it considered an error? Do they hold a premium? What denomination other than cents have them?

This.

Considered an improper alloy mixture and yes, they hold a slight premium up to what one is willing to pay.
The wilder, generally the more desirable.

Cents are not the only ones that might show the "woodie" look. Nickels, especially Buffalo (Indian) Nickels can sometimes be found with that look, too.

So a woodie looks like it has a wood design to it?

Yes. The alloys used did not mix thoroughly. Happened a lot on wheat cents. It is in the stock material used in the coin making process. They are not created by a strike. Just when stock was at issue. The larger the effect is, the more desirable they are.

What do they know?

A woodie is a car type built in the pre-30's to mid-50s that had wood work in some of the body sections.
