1942-P Jefferson nickel Type 1 WDDO-001 - Doubled Chin

for comparison

http://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/...ngs/view/124

make sure to note it is the late stage

It does not have doubling on igwt we trust its more mushy and parts are visable.

it does have 2 in date and the chin, lips and hair on ears.

Looking through a full library of coins vol 7 album with Jefferson nickel. This is the first possible find in the album.

I thought it was MD but remembered something Coop said about the shading on double die versus MD. So when I was looking at doubled dies I seen it listed.

note the rounding with dark shadows and the number 2 in the date. The doubled hair on ear also.

It is a late die stage so We Trust is all mushy in appearance but parts are visible in the mushy mess.

It appears to be correct for the late die stage description?

Any comments, suggestion or feedback welcome

There is a lot of Die Deterioration on the devices and some areas of the bust is also affected. (under jaw) But I don't see any hub doubling on this coin. The face also shows machine damage rolling this area fresh upward in that area.

The doubling was supposed to be under the nose, lips and hair on ears dont know why I wrote chin I guess it was distracting. Everywhere I should of wrote nose I put the word chin above. But I assume the same will be true none the less.
