I have been away from CCF for a while with only the occasional visit. Coins have taken a secondary role in my life which is how it should be. I divested myself of a significant part of my collection and strangely enough I don't miss it. I have not bought a coin for myself for over a year now. But I miss the hunt. So I think its time for me to get back into the world of coins. My plans for world domination of the 2 Cent market are gone for good but the idea that I can own and have in my possession at least one example of every known variety is still a huge draw. So I am returning to what I know best. I won't be spending thousands of dollars to obtain the best examples out there I'll be looking at lower grade coins maybe even only buying one or two a year but each one will be properly cataloged and studied and where possible matched to a known variety. its that part of coin collecting that has been my greatest source of pleasure. So for those who know me I'm back and those who are new I'm here to share what I know when I can and learn from you all as I have done in the past.
I am still spending most of my time offshore in some of the not glamorous parts of the world so there will be times I am gone but I will always come back to my CCF family.

Hey nohope, I for one missed your expertise on the .02 centers, I have a whole bunch and don't know what to do with them..  Glad your back.  |

I've cut back on spending myself since my job has been cut into nothing, I'm currently looking for other work now. Glad your still around Richard! Guess we will just have to let others get those expensive deuces now.

I dumped over 100 ms 64 and higher ones on the market I got about what I expected for them which was less than grey sheet. but I was surprised to see it did not really effect the overall prices. I was expecting a slight down turn in the market prices.. that I did not see. I wonder how many are sitting in dealers inventory right now.
